MEET ADINDA
Adinda started her internship at Bound this year. She is flourishing, on top of everything, creative and we're super grateful to have her here at Bound.
WHAT MADE YOU APPLY TO DO AND INTERNSHIP AT BOUND?
Other than being very interested in fashion and wanting to work in the fashion industry, I have always been dreaming of my own brand. Looking at Bound Studios, I was very inspired with the story of how Bound Studios was created. I very much relate to the elements of dreams and passion and thought that this would be the right place for me to learn and develop. Especially, after the interview, I became even more interested after learning that I will be given the ability to explore what I want and develop my current interests, or even develop new interests.
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK AT BOUND?
It’s been wonderful. I am the type of person who can easily get stressed even with the smallest thing but after working here for a month, I have not yet experienced that. Even with getting up in the morning, there has not been a day where I am not excited to wake up for work. I enjoyed every minute that I have spent at Bound and am very excited for more.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE THE MOST ABOUT WORKING HERE?
The ability to explore and learn many things and the appreciation. Malu is an amazing boss. There has never been a time in Bound where I don’t feel appreciated for my work. The appreciation really keeps me going every day to take on new challenges.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU EVERY DAY? HOW DO YOU FIND CREATIVITY?
People around me and social media. Not trying to be nosy or creepy, but I love observing people. Everyone has different styles and different thoughts, and it’s very interesting to try to understand that and apply it to my own ideas and perspectives. And since I am a child of the internet, of course I get most of my inspiration from social media. I think the reason for that is the same as why I like observing people. Just the different perspectives.
WHAT IS YOUR ALL TIME FAVOURITE PIECE FROM THE COLLECTION?
I love the little vegetable and fruit pendants. They’re very cute. Also, the bamboo and panda rings. I love them so much. Have never seen something like those before.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?
A passionate, curious, over-thinker.
WHAT IS YOUR ZODIAC SIGN?
Pisces sun, Aquarius rising and Virgo moon!
WHAT IS YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL?
Cat. Other than because I am a cat lady, I connect very well with cats. I am curious, independent, can be very introverted, and I like to play hard-to-get.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?
Pink.
WHAT DOES A PERFECT DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
Where I just lay around in front of the TV as I crochet and eat good food and doing everything with my cats.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE DRINK?
Boba. I call myself the boba expert.
WHAT IS YOU GO-TO SONG?
There’s this Korean song that can always help me to either relax or focus. It’s Sunny Days, Summer Nights by Sam Kim. Very dreamy and helpful when I can’t study or sleep.
